BY PROCESS

Mixing

It consists of a circular mixing bowl, top lid, top chopper & mixing blade. The mixing bowl top is fully open for easy access & removal of mixing blades. The top lid of the mixing bowl is conical in shape to assist circulation of cohesive powder. Main Mixing blade is having unique design and blade angle, thus pushing the material radially outward and upward. The large lumps occurred during wet mixing are broken up, by the strategically located chopper blade.

The discharge door opens pneumatically at a predetermined time for the formulation and Product is discharged by centrifugal action into the Discharge funnel.

The extrusion operation is a wet granulation technique were in the material is charged into the hopper and transferred through screw mechanism towards pressing cam and out of the orifice of mesh and extrudes of particular dia is formed.

The discharge door opens pneumatically at a predetermined time for the formulation and Product is discharged by centrifugal action into the Discharge funnel.

Spheronization

Spheronizer consist of Drum which can be jacketed / non jacketed with the chequered plate inside, extrudes are charged into the Spheronizer drum, they are thrown to the outer periphery of the Chequered plate by centrifugal forces. When in contact with the plate chequering, the extrudes are cut into short cylindrical segments & gradually rounded to spheroids. When the particles attain required spherical shape they are centrifugally discharged through the discharge door which pneumatically opens into the discharge hopper at the predetermined time.

Dryer

The fluid bed dryer consists of an Inlet chamber, Product chamber & filter chamber. The material is charged into the product chamber. Air distribution plate assembled in the product chamber ensures uniform distribution of air. As per the material to be charged different meshes options are available. drought is induced inside the chamber by means of a blower and fresh hot air is sucked from AHU into the bottom inlet chamber.

This hot air stream passes through the bed of the material and gets fluidized the product particles by creating the turbulence in the product chamber. This turbulence inside the bed assists in the transportation of the material over the length of the dryer. Due to fluidization, the particles gets surrounded by hot air, which leads quick & uniform heating and drying.

Moist air is carried away by the hot air through the Filter chamber provided at the top where the air can be recycled and used in case of closed loop process. The filter is provided with air purging to avoid filter choke-up due to the product particulate inside the chamber. The filter can be lowered for cleaning purpose with the help of pneumatic arrangement. A rupture disc is provided at the top to prevent damage to the blower in case of excessive pressure and temperature inside the chamber. A pneumatic lifting arrangement is also provided for inlet chamber sealing. The product bowl is attached to a trolley for easy access and cleaning.

Sifter

To get a particle of the uniform size sifter is used, it may contain single deck / two / three depending upon requirement, each deck contains one mesh of particular size through which we get our desired product size and rest can be discarded or reprocessed.

Fluid Bed Multiprocessor is multi-purpose equipment designed to perform bottom spray Wurster coating, top spray granulation and drying. It is based on the fluidization phenomena. When a bed of solid particles is subjected to a stream of air or gas passing upward through the particles at a rate great enough to set them in motion, the bed behavior changes and the fluid air or gas will support the particles giving them freedom of mobility.

The fluid bed multiprocessor consists of an Inlet chamber, Product chamber, Top spray, Bottom spray, Expansion chamber & filter chamber. The material is charged into the product chamber. Air distribution plate assembled in the product chamber ensures uniform distribution of air. As per the material to be charged different meshes options are available. The filter can be lowered for cleaning purpose with the help of pneumatic arrangement. A rupture disc is provided at the top to prevent damage to the blower in case of excessive pressure and temperature inside the chamber. A pneumatic lifting arrangement is also provided for inlet chamber to seal product chamber at bottom and top. The product bowl and expansion chamber is hinged to the body for easy access.
